Vergennes Day is just around the corner and Vergennes Rotary is gearing up for their annual Rubber Ducky Race. It will be held during the Vergennes Day weekend on Saturday, August 24th. The ducks will be launched at the base of the Vergennes falls at 3:00 PM.
The proceeds from this annual fundraiser go toward supporting our youth. We sponsor the summer reading program "Booked for Bikes" and award 6 college scholarships each year. This is just a small part we play in investing in our youth, the community, and our future.
Tickets are $3.00 each, or 4 for $10.00. The First Place ticket holder will receive $250, Second Place receives $100, and Third Place receives $50.
We are also asking our business friends to help us support our kids’ educational dreams by sponsoring a Big Duck. The cost is only $50. The winner of this year’s Big Duck race will win a $250 donation to a charity of their choice.

Tickets will also be on sale around town leading up to the race and in the park until 2PM the day of the race.
