The Rotary Club of Vergennes meets every Tuesday morning at Champlain Valley Christian School in their Community Room. The school is located just off New Haven Road near the Eagles Club. Look for their sign. We meet promptly at 7:15 AM and close our meetings promptly at 8:30 AM. We usually have a guest speaker with some relevant local or Vermont subject to speak about. Ours is a small and very informal club and we have a great time which is a nice way to start the day.
Our promptness of opening and closing our meeting brings to mind a time when one of our speakers asked our president how long he should speak. Our president replied, “Speak as long as you want — we’re all leaving at 8:30 anyway.”

Someone will be in contact with you within a few days after receiving your email. We usually set aside about a half hour for guest speakers which should include a question and answer period.
